Grace Kelly {the Princess of Monaco} - truly gorgeous will full of grace, just like her name.

Audrey Hepburn (Everybody's Princess} - She was so charming and classy. Her little body, beautiful eyes and pretty voice. Her fashion style was also something I adored...

Elizabeth Taylor {Stunning Beauty} - Can you believe how stunningly beautiful she was? Her eyes, the thick eye brows and the look that could kill thousand men instantly? To me, she is a lonely star who's only married so many times to find a true love.....

Marilyn Monroe {Norma Jean: the Mysterious Soul} - She is often portrayed as a sex symbol. Her sexy body and her free spirited attitude was something set her apart from the rest of Hollywood stars. She is one of my favorite icons of all time - I love her when she wore less makeup or when she looks all innocent and cute. Her true color shines when she's not all done up. I must admit though, she was a one sexy lady full of mystery. I would have loved to see her when she was older and gray...

Chase, Paul & Love...

Hello everyone.. I'm sorry, it's taken me forever, but I finally uploaded the photos of my artwork that I finished last year. I know I'm being lame and l.a.z.y...

But here we go!


My sister in Hawaii asked me to paint something for her nephew (her husband's brother had a baby) and she wanted the color to be just like ones in the Pottery Barn catalog above. She wanted me to draw turtles instead of farm animals. She also wanted something simple...

And this is what I painted for {Chase}...



Now, a friend of mine asked me to paint something for her friend's little boy {Paul} that goes well with the bedding from Pottery Barn - Star Wars theme...

And this is what I painted for him....

Finally, I painted {Love} for my friend who desperately wants love in her life. She wanted something cheerful, but also wanted to feel calmness in the painting. She hasn't seen it yet. What do you think - do you think she'll like it?

I always enjoy looking at sketches created by designers. The sketch shows designer's personality and style. I like the way they draw the sketches or the way the final product turn out - it's amazing.

Think about it - isn't it just wonderful that your imagination can take you to a place where you create such a beautiful dress?

Capturing The Moment

I saw the 12 most memorable photos on MSN which the readers were casting votes. I haven't seen the result yet, but I picked three photos that I loved.

Sofia, Bulgaria on Jan 5th - A girl with a bright pink umbrella. Everything about this picture is beautiufl. The color, the snow and the umbrella, and even her boots!

I forgot to write down the detail of this photo, but I love black and white photography...

New Year's Day @ Time's Square - the kiss and the embrace. There is something about men in uniform that always catch my eyes. So romantic... I think this photo should be voted number 1...

My Dream House...

Coastal Living magazine has released a new seasonal magazine called "Total Beach House" - it is absolutely beautiful!



I selected the photos I love and it would be my dream house if I can combine all of them together or find the best aspects of every room and make my own. Growing up in Hawaii and living in FL, owning a beach house is my ultimate goal!

Vintage Disney

The other night, I went to see "The Princess and The Frog" with my family. Both of my daughters were so happy and we all enjoyed the movie very much....

Disney's princess movies are all cute and heartwarming and I grew up seeing "Snow White" "Sleeping Beauty" and "Cinderalla" myself, wishing my dreams upon a star. When the world has tremendous negative influence on children nowadays, seeing a movie like "The Princes and The Frog" makes me appareciate beautiful art like Disney creates.

I decided to browse through some of Disney's old films online and I came across these sites that sell vintage Disney movie's cels. I like everything that says "Vintage", but old Disney films are the best... I would love to own one of these one day and put it up on the wall (I added the price to show you how expensive these can be!)

I love music. Music is a great form of art and I listen to all kinds of music although I tend to skip country. Sorry, if you love country! But there is exception: I adore country love songs. I think love songs in country music are beautiful - something about it that I can't explain, but listening to it during sunset reminds me of my home on the North Shore of Hawaii..

Anyway, one of my favorite country songs right now is called "I Need You Now" by Lady Anthebellum. The lead singer Charles Kelley is quite a hottie and his voice is really sexy!!!
